The 100 people and organizations featured on the list will be added to our blog bit by bit on every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from now until Christmas. You can also follow the list unfold on LinkedIn and in our app.
🌱 Who will be featured?
After 10 years of working in circularity, my list will feature 100 people and organizations broadly working in circularity, who I think you should follow because their work is novel and interesting, because their approach is impactful and inspiring, and because I frankly think they deserve to get more recognition for their work. #100StoriesFor10Years
🌱 How have the people and organizations been selected?
The people and organizations on my list have been picked out by me because I believe in what they are doing, because they have shaped my own career or outlook on circularity, or because I just think there is something all of us can learn from them. I have not been paid, sponsored, or otherwise endorsed to select anyone I have chosen for my list. This list is just a “little gift” or a learning opportunity for anyone looking to expand their understanding (and their community) within circularity.
🌱 How will the list be structured?
As it is 2025, I have decided to split the list over 25 individual posts. That means each post will feature 4 people and/or organizations. I will be posting one post every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from now until Christmas. In other words, the list is going to be a bit of an unconventional #zerowaste alternative to an advent calendar — packed with little stories and wisdoms as we close out this year. #25for2025
🌱 Why have I created this list?
I started my research into circularity laws and policies 10 years ago. My path and career in circularity has not been easy or straightforward by any account, and this spring — with the dismantling of large parts of the EU's Green Deal — I really thought that the time had come for me to put an end to my career within the sector. In reflecting on just how many wonderfully kind and inspiring people and organizations have shaped my path through circularity over the past 10 years, I however felt like I owed myself and everyone that has invested so much into my career another shot. This list is a thank you for the kindness I have been shown and a way to pass on some hope and wisdom.
