5-6 February 2026 • Christine Nikander will be attending the first global stakeholder engagement workshop of UNIDO's Global Electronics Management Programme in Vienna.
January 2026 • Our team will launch the "Female Scientists" series that tells the stories of female pioneers and trailblazers. It includes stories on women in data and AI, women in electronics, women in mobility, women in energy, women in mining, women in circularity, and women in climate.
14 November 2025 • Our team launches the "Circular Impactmakers" series that tells the stories of people and organizations pushing to make the circular economy a reality. It includes stories on circular impactmakers in waste reduction and repair, circular impactmakers in resource management, circular impactmakers driving systems change, and circular impactmakers redefining design.
12 November 2025 • After 10 years in the circularity space, Christine Nikander puts out a list featuring 100 people and organizations broadly working in circularity, who she thinks you should follow in 2025.

23 April 2025 • Palsa & Pulk starts working together with a group of students from the master program in sustainable development at Utrecht University for a consultancy project. With guidance from Christine Nikander, the students develop a visualization of key issues and opportunities that arise in the life cycle of a reusable vape.

Circular design course
30 November 2023 • Christine Nikander begins to work, together with Palsa & Pulk and BonoLab, on developing an educational course on circular design. Christine Nikander and Saskia Tykkyläinen act as subject matter experts for the course and create a detailed course storyboard covering design principles and strategies, product life cycles, consumer behavior, and design solutions.
